Lovely cottage, well decorated, loads of local info, friendly host, well-stocked. Gorgeous king size beds, provided essentials, nice bottle of red wine. Small shops nearby, real ale pub close. Good quality fixtures and fittings, beautiful bedding.

The cottage far exceeded our expectations. the host was super helpful, providing us with plenty of information before our arrival. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the linen was of excellent quality. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the complimentary bottle of wine. the cleanliness of the entire cottage was outstanding, and we were impressed with the attention to detail. the local area had plenty of attractions and the cottage's location was perfect for exploring. this was a fantastic experience.

One drawback was the size of the sofa, as it was quite small and uncomfortable. It would have been great if there was a larger, more comfortable sofa to relax on.

Guests can enjoy playing board games like Scrabble and Monopoly. the owner provides useful advice on local attractions and transportation options.

The location of the cottage requires walking uphill, which may be challenging for those with physical handicaps.

Despite a slight inconvenience with parking, I found a nearby street to park my car. I highly recommend staying at this exceptional cottage in Matlock!
